God can resurrect the things that are “dead” in your life (i.e., your desire to seek him, your hunger for his Word, devoting time in prayer, etc.), you must examine your life to see what is hindering God from entering in to help you. Thus, it is imperative to perform a relationship evaluation in your life to determine who stays and who gets put out of your “house.” Your spiritual health is depending on it!

Jesus Christ came to the earth to help the spiritually poor condition of the human race by leaving the riches and glory of heaven, becoming poor by clothing himself with flesh, to make us rich. (2 Corinthians 8:9)

Jesus Christ suffered a horrible death to provide an opportunity for the whole world to receive and enjoy a new spiritual life in him. However, the only way to receive the free gift of salvation is by faith and obedience to God’s word. (Acts 16:30-31)

As believers of God, we face opposition from an invisible enemy, the devil. His goal is to discourage you and knock you down with troubles and problems. However, God has provided his children with what we need to withstand the opposing forces of spiritual wickedness in high places. Only by receiving strength from God’s Word enables us to withstand, and having done all, to stand. (Ephesians 6:13)

Never underestimate the power of words. Right words are like nourishing, health-giving food (Proverbs 15:4). However, the Bible warns us that words can be used to deceive, injure, control, and destroy. Perhaps if we consider some of the sins of the tongue, it might encourage us to use our gift of speech more carefully.

Pride is the sin of selfishness. God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. (James 4:6). Pride blinds men in seeing their own faults, but easily sees the faults of others. It’s time to cast off the garment of pride and draw near unto the Lord.

Over the last few years, the world’s attention has been focused on a “new” sickness (COVID-19), which has resulted in the death of millions. However, as serious as that is, we must not overlook the spiritual sickness of sin that all of mankind is born with. While there are no current remedies or cures for COVID-19, there is one that can heal your spiritual sickness, and his name is Jesus.

God hates a lying tongue (Proverbs 6:16-17). Whenever we speak the truth, the Spirit of God is at work, but whenever we tell a lie, our flesh opens the door for Satan to go to work. Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44). Why do people lie? To cover or hide something (sin) To… Read More »

The bible clearly warns mankind that judgment upon this earth is nearer than we think (2 Peter 3:6-10). No one will be able to run, hide, or escape. The only safe place for our souls is to abide in the Word of God.

Jesus will make a change in your life only if you include him in your pot (life) by obeying his Word. Only Jesus can counteract that which is dead in your life and make it alive.

Only the voice of God, which is his Word, will not only lead you to a relationship with God but lead you to heaven. Any voice that does not agree with God’s Word is the wrong voice, which will lead you away from God and ultimately to eternal damnation.

Speech (The tongue) is an awesome gift from God. However, we so often take this gift for granted and abuse an ability that ought to be guarded and used to the glory and praise of God. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” (Proverbs 18:21) The power of speech is a privilege. However, with this privilege comes responsibility, and responsibility brings accountability. Our tongue can be used to do good, and it also can be used to do evil, but only God can help us use our tongue to do good.
