As we enter into the month of December, we begin to plan for many things, such as Christmas, and then we start planning for the upcoming New Year. Some people may wonder what their goals will be for the New Year, while others begin to think about how to better their lives for the New Year. Whatever your plans are, I want you to STOP and think about the NOW! What are you doing Now, because all you have is right now. Tomorrow is not a promise to anyone, so you need to ask yourself, if I die today, where will my soul spend eternity?
We all have a soul, and we must make preparations where our soul will abide beyond death. Will it dwell in heaven with the Lord, or will it be in hell with the devil? Unknowingly, many people believe that as long as they live a good life, they will go to heaven. However, the Bible says in John 3:5, “Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” That means that without receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost with the speaking of tongues as evidence (Acts 2:4), you cannot enter into heaven.
We all have decisions in our lives that have to be made. Some choices may be what we are going to wear, what we may eat, where are we going, etc.… However, the most important choice is where my soul shall be throughout eternity. Make Jesus your choice TODAY!

Amen, Praise the Lord! Through hearing the Word preached and read I’ve learned that when you make plans God will unplan, so I try to live one day at a time.

Praise the Lord! This is a good reminder to always put Jesus first in our lives. He is the author and finisher of our faith.
