Are you too busy for God?
There are many things in our lives that we value as being important to us. From our spouses, children, family, job/career, health, home, etc., the list can go on and on. These things require a portion of our time, effort, and attention that can pull us in many different directions. Thus, you can get so consumed with the many things in your life that you can overlook the most important and needful thing, which is fellowship with Jesus. Help God, help you!
Contrary to popular beliefs and teachings today where God is considered to be a type of genie or Santa Claus who jumps to grant a believer’s wishes upon request. We all need help – Build bridges not walls
Life is like sour patch candy, bitter and sweet. The joys of life can be exhilarating (sweet), but the pains of life can be overwhelmingly difficult (bitter). Some people build walls in times of trial and shut themselves off. They are afraid to reach out for help, but feel a type of security and comfort in not letting anyone in. Under the circumstances, building walls may seem like the right thing to do, but it actually becomes a means of isolation. Building walls of isolation prevents you from receiving help from God, and the people whom God uses. In contrast, building bridges can draw you closer to the Lord and people who can help you in difficult times.
Walking into your Victory (in 2023)
In the book of Joshua chapter 6, God brought his people to the brink of their promised blessing, but they had one more seemingly impossible challenge to overcome. The promised blessing was surrounded by walls. Today, believers are promised God’s blessings recorded in his Word, such as, Spiritual deliverance, healing for the body, strongholds broken in your household, or a greater manifestation of God’s presence in your life. However, the blessings of God are surrounded by “walls,” i.e., obstacles, and challenges, of which our natural ability, intellect, or financial resources are ineffective to overcome. God’s “weapons” are spiritual and not carnal. They are “mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;” – (2 Corinthians 10:4). Below are five spiritual weapons needed to knock down the walls surrounding your blessing, enabling you to Walk into your Victory!
